Room Division Manager
Job Description:-
* Supervises the overall activities of Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry and Security operations
* Monitors the personnel of these operations to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition
* Ensures staff, particularly guest contact personnel, are familiar with Privilege Membership members, known repeat guests and other VIPs and provide special attention and recognition
* Coordinates exchange of pertinent information between departments within the Rooms Division and directs exchange of information with other departments, specially Engineering Department
* Consults with Department Heads and General Manager on an ongoing basis to improve business conduct
* Assumes overall responsibility for maintaining presentation standards to ensure facilities and equipment are clean, in good repair and well maintained
* Schedules and regularly conducts routine inspections of areas under control
* Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of Room Division employees
* Conducts comprehensive monthly departmental meetings to include review of procedures and events which warrant special handling and detailed information
* Promotes Internal sales and in-house facilities
* Monitors and controls the inventories for operating equipment and supplies
* Communicates to the General Manager to his/her delegate, and other Department heads, all information likely to be of interest to them
* Monitors and controls the Room Division Operation in the areas of revenue expenditure, profitable and performance against budget
ROOMS DIVISION DEPARTMENT:
The major functions conducted by the Rooms Division Department are:
Reservation, registration, room & rate assignment
Fulfills guest services and updates room status
Maintains & settles guest accounts
Creates guest history records
Develops & maintains a comprehensive database of guest information
Coordinates Guest Services
The sole priority of the Rooms Division Department shall be ensuring
Guest Satisfaction, which happens when, guest expectations match what
the hotel provides.
Front Office Manager
Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operation of the Front Office Department, Guest Relations activities, Bell Desk, Telephone Operators, Fitness Center and Spa.
Establish/ Create new, direct, implement and maintain a service and management philosophy in line with the SOP.
To train extensively, motivate extensively and provide leadership to cultivate a Front Office Team that is self-motivated and focused on delivering Superior Service Level.
Responsible to assist in providing guest service with promptness and alertness.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategies, plans and program to ensure maximum guest satisfaction, sales potential and profitability.
To cultivates and maintain close rapport with all guest at all times in order to ensure that they are well taken care of and mutual goodwill is established.
